Helping businesses realize their full potential
Collins Computing customers cover the gamut, from small, growing businesses to globally recognized, Fortune 500 companies. Nevertheless, we value every customer, regardless of the organization’s size.
To give you an idea of how we can help your company, take a look at some of our past successful projects, highlighted below.
Smart Systems Technologies – Smart Systems Tech recently used Collins Computing to migrate our aging GP 8 environment into GP 2016. It was a truly harrowing task, as we have a heavily modified system and very large databases to work with. In addition to that, our previous partner left the upgrade into GP 8 unfinished and did not provide our company any source code for the modifications that had been done, so we had to go through and reverse engineer the entire system before we could even get started. All things considered, it was as smooth of an upgrade as it could have been. We went live and hit the ground running in the new system, within a few weeks it was as if nothing had changed. Abra truly loves what she does and it shows in her persistence and attention to detail. The entire team at Collins is very talented, we haven’t been able to stump them yet as we continue to enhance and modify our system to meet our unique business needs. We can’t say enough good things about the upgrade process, Abra is the best consultant we have ever worked with.
The BlueFin Case Study – BlueFin is a leading distributor of toys, collectibles, novelty and hobby products. BlueFin required the ability to have a point of sales solution that was integrated in real time with their ERP solution but operated over the internet. Acumatica’s web-based architecture combine with the fusion retail management solution met this need quite nicely.
The Soundcast Case Study – In the early 2000s, the founders of one of America’s largest and oldest audio and speaker manufacturers launched Soundcast.
Their vision? Develop reliable, high-performance wireless audio products that deliver the ultimate in sound quality and work seamlessly with any lifestyle.
With over a decade of experience in audio product development, Soundcast designs products that allow people to experience their music like never before.
Originally founded in the early 2000’s, Soundcast developed a portable music system and was spun off as a separate company in 2015. It could not continue using its parent company’s ERP software and needed a system that fit its budget. With the assistance of Collins Computing, in early 2016, the company implemented Acumatica and looks forward to growing without paying to add users.
DemTech ERP Case Study – Acumatica strengthens financial controls, helps manufacturer prepare for growth
Acumatica partner Collins Computing determined that Demtech’s combination of needs would be well-suited for an Acumatica Cloud ERP solution. Demtech considered a SaaS deployment, but ultimately selected a private cloud on-premise deployment because they wanted to control their own server, yet still realize the benefits of a web-based ERP solution.
“Carrying a multi-million dollar inventory, you’ve got to have good controls for that … With the new controls that Acumatica has in place, our inventory is much more accurate.” – Roger Collins, CFO, Demtech
The Salvation Army Case Study – The Salvation Army Improves Productivity and Expands Reporting Capabilities.
More than 31 million Americans receive assistance from The Salvation Army each year through various social services that help those in need.
With assistance from Microsoft® Gold Certified Partner Collins Computing, The Salvation Army upgraded its Microsoft Dynamics GP accounting system in just three months for customized, not-for-profit accounting functionality, expanded reporting capabilities, and system-wide scalability.
YMCA ERP Case Study – YMCA Teams up with Collins Computing to balance members needs.
YMCAs are dedicated to offering programs that define us as individuals as well as to build a strong community. Their mission is well-known through the U.S. and it has made a huge impact on our society since 1845. YMCA of the Foothills is no exception. Founded in 1953, they have two facilities in Southern California offering youth programs, healthy living services, and are actively making a positive impact on their community by touching over 24,000 community members.
After researching their options, YMCA of the Foothills decided to implement Daxko to manage all their operations. But they quickly found that the financial management within Daxko as not robust enough for their specific needs so they contacted Collins Computing for help in implementing Microsoft Dynamics® GP. Even better, Collins Computing made a seamless integration possible between Daxko and Microsoft Dynamics GP for the Point-of-Sale functionality.
